We supply all our limited edition prints on fine art matt paper using a giclee process to ensure the highest colour rendition and print longevity.

Whether you are looking for a premium poster style box frame or a hand-made hard wood baroque swept frame with plaster cast corner details, we have you covered.
We can offer with or without a mount surround and all our frames are sprayed here in our workshop with over 100 colours to choose from.
Thats right, after the timber arrives from the mill, we cut and assemble the frame before sanding and spraying, ensuring every frame is bespoke fitted to each piece of art.

Jack will work with you every step of the way to ensure your artwork is exactly what you want by adapting his existing designs. He is committed to delivering high-quality artwork that can be ready in just 3 weeks.
For an extra £95.00 you can have the opportunity to add up to five personal details to an artwork of your choice from Jack's extensive catalogue of location based photo-collages.
Once you have collected your additional elements, send them over to Jack here at H.O.B. Studio and he will open the design and weave your elements into the artwork, creating a unique piece just for you.
And with a small fee on top of our gallery prices, it’s a small price to pay for a one-of-a-kind piece.

Large Scale Artwork

Location based Artwork

Jack specialises in creating location based photo-collages that are original, personal, and unique. He works closely with his clients to understand their vision and preferences and use all the source material they provide or personally go to the location for a 1 or 2 day shoot.
Jack will then create a stunning photo-collage that captures the beauty, energy, and character of the location.
The final product is available in a choice of sizes and framing styles, making it the perfect addition to any space.

Picture Framing
H.O.B Studio
Our fully bespoke picture framing service offers the highest quality materials and expert hand finished frames. We use anti-glare glazing and acid free conservation materials to ensure your artwork is preserved. All timbers used are FSC certified and are available in both hard and soft woods, with many colours finishes to choose from. We specialise in internal slip frames, allowing you to make the most of your artwork.

Our frames are cut, pinned, sanded, finished, waxed, polished and quality checked by hand, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship. Choose from our selection of frames and give your artwork the perfect finishing touch.

Acid-free
Our art frame making service is all about preserving your precious art pieces with the highest quality materials. Our museum quality archival materials ensure your artwork lasts for generations to come. We use only acid-free boards and tapes and the best glues to ensure your art is protected from fading and environmental damage. Our experienced team of designers will work with you to create an art frame that not only preserves your artwork but also enhances its beauty.

Low carbon footprint
We take pride in creating frames that beautifully showcase your artwork while also being environmentally conscious. That's why we never use wood from China, Brazil, or any other country with questionable forestry or labor practices. Our frames are made from premium European wood and crafted by skilled artisans using traditional hand tools, hand and foot operated tools. We're proud to employ local staff and have our workshop on site, so you can see the care and precision that goes into each and every frame.

Our art frames are made exclusively from real wood, with no veneers or other substitutes. We ensure that each piece, from the smallest to the largest, is crafted to perfection using FSC certified, sustainably sourced timbers. We take pride in providing you with the best quality frames for your artwork. Choose from our wide range of styles and sizes to perfectly complement your artistic vision.

We only use sustainably sourced timbers directly supplied from the mill for our hand-made picture frames.

About HOB
Welcome to The House of Bystander Gallery.
We are a premium art gallery and picture framers
hosting monthly exhibitions alongside hosting our ever-growing art collection.
We specialise in framed location-based limited edition prints of Manchester, New York, London, Liverpool and many more by Jack Lloyd, alongside original art by our celebrated artists in residence, Glennis and Fiona (Creative Recycling).
HOB is home to three gallery areas, craft course workshop, framing workshop and sculpture garden.
The gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. We invite you to visit our gallery to explore our collection of artworks.
